The Data Distribution Service for Real-Time Systems (DDS) is an Object Management Group (OMG) standard for publish/subscribe designed to address the needs of a large class of mission- and business-critical distributed real-time systems and system of systems. The DDS standard has experienced swift adoption in a variety of application domains characterized by the need to distribute high volumes of data with predictable low latencies, such as, Radar Processors, Flying and Land Drones, Combat Management Systems, Air Traffic Management, High Performance Telemetry, Large Scale Supervisory Systems, and Automated Stocks and Options Trading.
