How do we control lifespan for persistent data? I did find the QOS that controls the history length (TopicQos.durability_service.max_samples_per_instance and TopicQos.durability_service.history_depth) but how do we specify to purge samples after a given amount of time?

The same way, is there a way to filter out data samples based on age at the data reader level?

I'm using DDS to store events and I'm looking for ways to:
a) Avoid wasting storage space (on a limited embedded system) with outdated historical information
b) Efficiently retrieve pertinent information without transferring the whole history (over a slow WiFi network) when one only cares about what occurred over the last hour (for say).

Thanks.
