Webcast Abstract:

The Object Management Group (OMG) has recently introduced a new Data Distribution Service (DDS) API which fully takes advantage of the Java 5 language features. This new API not only removes much of the incidental complexity that characterized the previous API, but also goes a step beyond by providing a far more concise, orthogonal and elegant API.

This webcast will introduce the Java 5 API for DDS, explain the key pattern at its foundation and get you started proficiently developing DDS applications in Java!

The webcast will be presented by industry leading expert Angelo Corsaro, Ph.D., OpenSplice DDS CTO, PrismTech. Angelo is a much-respected figure in the distributed real-time and embedded (DRE) systems middleware community and co-chairs the OMG Data Distribution Service (DDS) Special Interest Group.
