I'm pretty sure I have all the environment variables set, but I suspect I missed something. I followed the directions in the "Getting Started Guide" as far as running vsvars32.bat and release.bat and then opening VS2008 using the command line devenv /useenv examples.sln. I can't get any examples to compile. I'm trying to use the stand alone version, and I would be happy if I could get any of the stand alone c++ to compile, but it keeps giving me errors in the os_defs.h and os_heap.h files.

I also tried compiling using the command line, but that didn't work either.

The system variables that are set are
OSPL_HOME C:\OpenSplice\HDE\x86.win32
OSPL_TARGET x86.win32
OSPL_URI "file://%OSPL_HOME%\etc\config\ospl.xml

Did I miss something?

As an addendum, I'm working in a Windows Vista 32-bit environment

Hi Anthony,

This is a pretty product specific question on a vendor neutral forum, so you will probably get be better of on the product specific mailing list for opensplice dds (see www.opensplice.org).

Be sure to also include a log containing the exact compiler error that you run into, because there is currently not enough information in your mail to determine what exactly is going wrong.

Good luck!
