DDS for database replication PreviousNext

Hello I'm sort of new to the world of DDS but I am curious on to what would be the best approach in attempting to replicate a relational database using DDS.

From what I understand it is best to limit topics to specific data types and avoid the use of variable sized byte[] yet if I wanted to replicate a database in its entirety does that imply:

- The one topic should be created for each and every table?

- How does one guarantee that the subscriber receive only events when all others present within the database transaction are received as well (In order to avoid referential integrity problems)?

- If the latter isn't possible and it is the transactions which are the samples, does that seem like a good approach?

Any light on this situation and potentially useful QoS patterns would be greatly appreciated ;)
