Hello,

Just to make things clear, Apache QPid does not implement the DDS Standard, it implements an old version of the AMQP specification.

Now, getting you your questions regarding DDS-compliant implementations, you can pick among the following:

Open Source:
- OpenSplice DDS (http://www.opensplice.com)
- OpenDDS (http://www.opendds.org/)

Proprietary:
- RTI DDS (www.rti.com)
- CoreDX (www.twinoakscomputing.com)
- InterCOM DDS (www.gallium.com)
-IBM (no specific URL for this, )

Among those, OpenSplice DDS is the one providing you with the best coverage of the standard and the widest user base.

HTH.

Cheers,
Angelo

AMQP is a standard for encoding exchanged data ! is it?
Qpid uses this standard, but is it a DDS?
Please can you explain to me if it is yes or no ?!
