Upon starting two separate DDS domains I find that there ends up being two instances of Spliced.exe and one of them uses one CPU core maxing it out.

1. Should there only be one instance of Spliced?

2. What might be the reason behind the usage of one entire core?

I have solved the problem by killing the second instance of spliced as the two separate DDS applications still continue to behave as expected.

Any resources and additional information are most welcome.

Regards,
Stuart

Hi Stuart,

Each domain is serviced by a single splice-daemon so there should indeed be two.

We had an issue on windows in the past w.r.t. multi-domains, so please make sure you're using the latest version (5.3).

PS> as this forum is intended to be DDS-vendor neutral, a better place for OpenSplice-specific questions is this: http://forums.opensplice.org

Regards,
Hans
